James J. Simon and Nicole D. Simon have worked for more than a combined twenty-five years in organizations ranging from those designated as Fortune Magazine’s “Best 100 Companies to Work For” to non-profit organizations. For the past seven years, they have been on an expatriate assignment based in Asia, with James overseeing marketing in Asia-Pacific for an $800 million high-tech organization. Their experiences in small offices and large offices and U.S.- and foreign-owned companies have helped shape their opinions of how to increase one’s value in an organization and maximize one’s compensation. James holds an M.B.A. from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Arizona. Nicole holds an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Arts in history and political science from California State University Fullerton. Based on the students' positive reception, James and Nicole decided to share their tips with a global audience.
